We understand that these Rules and Principles promote socially acceptable labor practices, and that results in great benefits not only for the Workers and Society in general, but also for Companies that apply them.

However, compliance with the requirements of SA 8000, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the United Nations Global Compact by Companies is not enough, they must maintain evidence that the Requirements and Principles mentioned are met by their Suppliers and Contractors (as established in Chapter IV – Requirements for Social Responsibility, Title 9 – Management Systems, Item 9.8 of the Policy SA 8000).
